I am working on an old Poclain LC80 Excavator. The owner tells me that the engine always ran fine. He shut it down and has'nt been able to start it again. That was over a year ago. It has a inline Bosch injection pump with a manual fuel shutoff lever. I can get fuel to the IP, but none to the injectors.
Is it possible that the internal side of the fuel shutoff lever can be hung up on this type of pump? I have had this happen on other older IP's.

Sorry I am late, I just joined.
Check to see if the fan belt is tight and turning.
the F6L912 is air cooled and has a fuel safty valve that is belt driven
