I have an F1L511 on a 15kw gen set and can't seem to find a way to make it speed up to the correct RPM when it takes a load.
As an example, if I set the speed to give me 120 VAC (approx. 1800) then put a 1500 watt load on it the voltage drops to about 109VAC instead of picking up the engine speed to compensate for the load.
The throttle arm has a wing nut to set the engine speed and it will stay constant without load.
Any help would be appreciated.
