We have a 1012 motor that has oil in the cooling system. We've changed the cooler and have pulled the head every thing looks good. I've talked to the dealer he said that there was a allen screw under the water pump that backs out, but our motor does'nt have that, our water pump isn't built into the block. Any body ran into this? There is no water in the base only oil in the cooling and lots of it. I'm open to any ideas.

I have exactly the same problem with a Deutz ewe also have changed the oil cooler but same problem exists. Also has coolant in the sump as well and yes in the cooling system also. We have changed to cooler, this engine is pretty well new with 500 odd hours on it and the roller its fitted to is also new. Unfortunantly I am in the rain forest f PNG and there are now Deutz people anywhere in country.

Would appreciate hearing from you if you found the problem.
