1998 4900 - engine DT466E
I have 2 fuel tanks, and if I park on a angle ( even for 10 minutes ) with the driver side being on the low side. My fuel empties from the other tank. The truck stalls due to lack of fuel, and have to fill the (emptied) tank, prime the engine to get it going.
Is this normal?

have you figured out your problem? im having similar problems with my 89 dt360. it started out like that now it looses prime every time i shut it down.

I'm not sure yet but I did find the passenger side vent hose kinked. Don't know if it was kinked enough to completely restrict air flow.

try putting a equilizer between tanks sounds like your fuel system was designed poorly some people like to individualize thier fuel tanks but in reality as long as you know how far ya got to go and do the math on fuel you'll be fine
