Diesel Talk
Hello All

I am new to Diesel engines and admit I know nothing about them, I have just purchased a 3 ton dumper which for love, money or blisters will not start, We tried easy start but it will not fire under compression (which is good). It has stood out in all weather and wonder if water has got in somewhere. I'm not sure where to start and would appreciate some guidance. Is there an electric tool on the market that can be used instead of a starting handle or can it be converted to a starter motor ?.

regards

'I listed a surplus Watermota diesel on DieselEngineTrader. It took a few months to sell, but I was delighted as the engine was quite obscure and I never thought anyone would buy it!'
