I have a 2000 6500 series GMC that came from a Penski rental fleet . The hydraulic park brake system cycles continuously while driving. There are no external leaks. The local dealers are not familiar with this system. Any help with wiring schematics system pressure or known problems?

I'm a bit rusty on these....but I have worked on them before. If yours is like the others, the pressure keeps the brake from engaging. When the pressure drops slightly, the pump cycles on again until the pressure comes up. So.....either the valve is leaking, or the switch is giving it a signal to come on again. Some of the auto-brakes used the power steering pump pressure as well as an electric pump. As soon as the power steering pressure dropped slightly, the electric pump came on even if the pressure was high enough to keep the brake off. They were NEVER easy to fix. Good luck on that one.

'We listed a Perkins diesel on DieselEngineTrader.com, had numerous inquiries from US and Europe and sold it within a week. Very pleased with your website.'

Ken Ginter, Arizona, USA

'We had a Mercedes engine in stock for over a year but were unable to sell it in Belgium - it was an unusual specification for generator use. Once we listed it on DieselEngineTrader.com, we sold it to a customer in England! We get regular inquiries from customers across the world.'

Rob Verhoeven, Hamofa Engines, Belgium

'We've sold 7 engines in 4 months through DieselEngineTrader.com - one to Utah, three to South Dakota, one to New York, one to Kansas and one locally in Wisconsin! I also advertise in other publications but DieselEngineTrader.com gets the best results and at a great price too! I like the way that my engines are shown at the top of Google searches and DieselEngineTrader.com will definitely be playing a major part in my advertising from now on.'
