Hi Guys,

I’ve read a lot on the forum about diesels running on used vegetable oil, it might sound scary but if it’s done right it can half your diesel costs which is a massive saving over the year. I found this helpful

www.howtofiltervegoil.co.uk

It tells you how to do it but more importantly what NOT to do and where to get all the bits from as well. I’ve been running mine on used oil for 18 months now and its ace.
I recon the engines smoother but that’s properly just me?

filtering vegetable oil and biodiesel but is essentially universal for any liquid filtering.Filtering can be done using strainers, filter bags, settling techniques and in the poor man’s method aka: using old clothing (not recommended as it makes a mess and requires a LOT of old clothes.
