First things first.......
How do I determine what diesel hp is needed to drive the boat to the same performance level....compensating for the added weight of the diesel engine?
The present gas engine is a Mercruiser 165hp which is supposedly a Chevy in line engine connected to an outdrive.

Any thoughts on the best engine to replace this with will be appreciated......

'The engine was on other sites, but we received the most calls from DieselEngineTrader.com. We sold it to the first caller-from DieselEngineTrader.com. Also, there was a waiting list on the engine if the first sale fell through! Thanks for the great service!'

Fran Trapp, South Carolina, USA

'DieselEngineTrader gives us the opportunity to broaden our sales coverage at very reasonable cost. We sold an International 7.3 to Florida for an advertising cost of only $15.00'

Horace Weaver, Tri-County Diesel Marine, Bellingham, WA

'We've sold 7 engines in 4 months through DieselEngineTrader.com - one to Utah, three to South Dakota, one to New York, one to Kansas and one locally in Wisconsin! I also advertise in other publications but DieselEngineTrader.com gets the best results and at a great price too! I like the way that my engines are shown at the top of Google searches and DieselEngineTrader.com will definitely be playing a major part in my advertising from now on.'
