Dozer all of a sudden smokes badly. Went out to run it and a battery cable was loose and batteries were dead. Charged the batteries and started the dozer and it smoked like crazy. It ran great the week before when I used it. Do you have any idea what might have happened. It only has 1100 hours on it. The muffler gets hot real fast, and there is also a ticking noise when raise or lower the idle. Never had a problem with it before, ran great.

What color is the smoke? The ticking noise could be a number of things. I have heard this noise and found bad lifters before on a Mack. I never have worked on a MTU before.
