Hi, anyone know where to get a bellhousing to join an Isuzu 6BD1a/6BD1-T 5.8 liter diesel engine to the GM TH350/TH400 transmission? I don't know too much about the history, but I'm pretty sure this Isuzu diesel engine was installed in 80's Chevy step vans and they usually always came with an automatic behind them. Anyone got a used one or know much about them? The Isuzu diesel engine was used in other applications of course mainly them being the F-Series trucks that were larger than your typical N-series. Thanks and I appreciate any help, advice, and replies.

I have all the stuff to do this. I did this exact project about 20 years ago. I put a 6BD1 into a GMC C-3500 with a THM400 behind it. The truck eventually rusted apart. I still have the engine and all the parts. I think I have talked to you before. Please email me at fje1@roadrunner.com.

'Thanks, I appreciate your site very much. I just sold another engine here this week. I am glad to know there are people working to improve the site whenever possible. I am very happy to be of some service in that regard.'

Aaron Lewin, Thorp, USA

'The engine was on other sites, but we received the most calls from DieselEngineTrader.com. We sold it to the first caller-from DieselEngineTrader.com. Also, there was a waiting list on the engine if the first sale fell through! Thanks for the great service!'
