i have a 2005 c15 accert clutch fan is bad, the engine fan is suppose to take like 20-30% hp when it kicks on and of course would also take a bit of fuel milage also, i was wondering if anyone knows of a kit to illiminate the stock clutch fan assembly and add a big electric set up to get better fuel milage and less hp drop in the summer? if any how did you like them when you added them to your truck and how long have the lasted ,any info would be greatly appreciated plus may help some others

This is not an electric fan, but you might have better luck with a two speed fan clutch from kit-masters.com. I used one of their products in the past and it worked quite well. Hope this is of some help.

No electrtic fan big enough to keep it cool during a pull. I have a electric fan set as a pusher in front of mine. It is hooked to my A/C relay to run with the A/C on. Keeps the big fan from cycling as much and seems to make my A/C cooler.

'Was looking for a Gardner 4LK to rebuild. None of my usual contacts could help me so I searched the Internet and found one on DieselEngineTrader. It was only 27 miles down the road!'

William Geldeard, North West Engine Services, Chester, UK

'I had hundreds of "hits" on your website which generated 5 or 6 inquiries from all over the world; Germany, The Philippines, Korea, Sweden, and Spain. I sold all 3 of my engines to a buyer from South Korea. Your website was invaluable to me in selling these engines; no other ads that I ran produced any inquiries.'

Gary Sommerfeld, Manager, Marine Operations, Phillips Cruises & Tours, Anchorage, Alaska

'Listed a Perkins T6.354 on DieselEngineTrader and sold it after 5 month. With a listing fee of $5.00 per month and no commission, it was much cheaper and more effective than the magazine we also used.'
