bendix comp. 13.2 cfm, hardly builds air at idle, replaced gov. didn't help. has 600,000 miles on it, has never given me a problem.

Take a look at the Bendix 'Service Data' sheet for your particular air compressor. Almost all data sheets are available on-line. The data sheet includes troubleshooting ideas. Good luck.
