TDcrash63 gave some info on the issue with these being know to cause problems. I have a C15 acert 475 s/n NXS with a vibration problem the overhead was ran while trying to find the cause. My main question is could the vva stud issue be missed while running the overhead? thanks for the help.

If you do not unbolt the V V A you will miss it. One of the symptoms that goes with the rough running engine but not a miss that can be determined to what cylinder it is and low on power by 20 to 40 hp usually down about 2 to 5 psi on boost. Many times its just not enough to say its a definate problem many times they think its just the driver complaining. Hope that helps.
