I believe that my air compressor is on it's way out. There is oil around the fresh air line, also around the bottom of the compessor. The other indiator is gray gunk in the air dyrer. I have 98 pete with a 475 3406e. Is there any thing I should know when removing or replacing with the new one. Thanks for the help with this.

you have a name of frliner, but you are asking about a 98 pete...i think thats funny....but anyways...not much about swapping these out...pretty much just drain coolant down enough and remove and replace. make sure you replace the gaskets. dont permatex the old ones...you may want to go ahead and replace the air dryer canister also.
