I havbe just purchesed a Searay boat with 2001 3196 cat. engines, these are known for bad aft cooler problems. Each engi had a complete in frame rebuild by Caterpiller in Florida, and started and ran fine. After about 3 mths of use on the Chesapeak bay, one engine has trouble turning over to start unless I double up the (New) starting batteries. These engins are computer controlled and require a computer to shoot trouble on them, few mechanics work on them. Any thoughts / help
confused
