Hello to all !!!! Is there any aftermarket performance
products for the cat 3116 engine. Ihave a 97 model
gmc topkick and am looking for a few more horses. Thanks

The only thing I know of is the resistor mods. They fool the computer a little for about a 10-20hp gain. One (4.7k)goes on the ICP sensor and the other (3.9k)goes on the MAP sensor. For more than that, look to a Cat dealer for a re-flash.

Thanks for the reply, after further investigation I found that the 3116 is a mechanical engine
and has a fuel rack similar to the old detroits. Inside of the valve cover there is a rack limiter
and we just tool a round and a half out and that let the engine get more fuel.
