I changed the codes on my injectors to 75 on all of them. Read where it would make it more responsive. Truck pulls good for what it is. 96 model 11.1 350 hp. Codes were 1-01, 2-03, 3-22, 4-00, 5-22, 6-05. Now the truck has a knocking sound from time to time. Makes the noise sometimes but not all the time. Idles rough when its doing it. Do I just simply need to put the original numbers back in it? What is the purpose of the numbers anyway? Please help?

The cal codes allow for a more even running at the lower pm's. Some believe that they get better power or mileage. I cannot comment on this and have never seen anyone with prof on paper. My question is this, did it knock before the changing of the cal codes?

I just bought the truck and drove it home. Changed the oil, belts, ran overhead, etc getting it ready for the road. During that time I had to redo the bull gear. I then carried it to MHC and had the parameters removed and changed the codes then. So I didnt run it much beforehand. Changed the codes back today and it runs quiet a bit smoother and seems to pull about the same but still has a little fuel knock sound. The #2 and #3 are reading 4.3 - the rest are 4.5.
