I have a quick question, I am having problems with an air compressor mbe 900. Do I have to take off the transmission to take off the air compressor? or is there another way. Because when I look at the compressor I don't see any bolts (3).

Crawl up there under everything, remove the breather tube assembly, there are 3 bolts at the rear and 1 bolt at the front of the compressor. This is a PITA job. Been there and done that about 3 times. Get a new seal [2] of them for the reman compressor and 1 seal for the power steering pump. All DDC available or from FL. Enjoy.
