It means your vcu can,t adjust the amount of fuel given to No5 cylinder to smooth out your idle - at limit means the electronic value recorded is lower than -3% or higher than +3% , What problem do you have with your engine ? Regards David

Ok, lets explain the 'Temec' electroic system. On the nflywheel there are notches for 1 of the sensors, 37 notches. the odd spaced one tells the engine governor where it is at. #1. so the PLD [computer is Temec language] knows where it is at. Now there is another sensor also on the cam shaft, this is also used but not necessarly always. So if you had a 1 cylinder engine and it was firing ok the amount of time the flywheel took to travel between the 2 points in rpm the PLD would measure it in time. So in your case 1 of the injectors is not firing properly at idle. The PLD opened up the fuel time for that 1 particular cylinder and it did not like the amount of time the flywheel took to travel the distance. Yes it measures each cylinder for smothness. I don't have my code reference chart here at the house so I am swagging this code reference from Westcoast. In reerence it means #5 takes to long to assist in the idling of the engine.

The problem I have with the engine is that when the tractor is in low idle the check engine light comes on and the engine has a miss. When I rev up the engine to 15 or 20 rpms the miss goes away a little bit

replace the injector nozzle and transfer tube and the HP tube. The nozzle is under the rocker cover. NOT THE INJECTION PUMP.

thank you west coast and gone fishin. i replaced the nozzle injector, the pencil, and the fuel lines. everything worked out good. engine light went off the dashboard and the engine sounds better. sorry for the delay in my response and i appreciate your help a lot.
