I'm looking for the Rocker Arm/ Jake Brake Bolt Torques. The Bolt goes Through the 795 Jakes and the Rocker Arm Shaft's into the Head. So far all I could find was the Old Specs. of 80 or 100 Ft. Lbs. Depending on if the Bolts have Shouldered Heads or Not. These have Shouldered Bolts. Then needing the Tune up Value's .... .008 & .026 on the Valves & 82.1 on the Injector's ???? Lastly the Value for the Jakes ???? Thanks in Advance for the Help .... TIM

Use your computer for axcess to Jake Brake for the spec's. Old torques work on the new engines. Nothings changed. Timing spec's are on the label on the side of the rockercover. No label? need model and camshaft #. Buy a manual next time. I help with issues, tune-up's and torque spec's I figgure you can buy a book.

Well, No Thanks to You .... I Finished what I Started. I already had a 2000 set of Shop & Troubleshooting Repair Manuals & Now have Updated Manuals on Order. I'm Not a Fly By Night - I Like you have been working on Diesel's for Years & This unit was a 2003 Yr. Model and the Info in the Manual's I had were Different. Sorry to have Irritated you - It seemed Your Response was one that i took as Irritated that Someone was Working on Something they didn't know anything about. Here I Thought this site was about Helping out others and Sharing Info to others in Need.

desertstormboy ..... Thanks for the Support !

There are several kinds of Jake brake styles. If I had given you the wrong info I would feel bad. If you looked it up on the internet and got the REAL spec's on tuneup you would feel better. I help with problems, I taught mechanic's to 'learn how to solve problems', I do not give out spec's. I think you are old enough to look some things up even if this means going to the local library. [Oh I forgot, do they still have those?].
