I know this is a detroit forum, and i have a Detroit in my western star ,so here is my problem! When i hit the foot brake i get a blast of air out of a valve on the frame ,not every time but 75-80% of the time and when it does this the brakes are not working 100% I changed that valve and it still blows off! Went to the garage and the dealer pointed out another valve that controls the valve i replaced so i bought that one for 135 dollars and same problem! All the air cans are good! When it don't blow off it will lock the wheels up when you hit the brakes, and when it blows off it will still stop but not as quick? Any ideas before i buy a bunch more air valves at 100 bucks apiece?

Have you tried sending an e-mail to TechTeam@Bendix.com ? These guys are very helpful and sharp. If you go to www.bendix.com you can probably get a phone number to speak with someone directly. It doesn't take long to get a lot of money in parts you don't need.
