I have a 2003 Detroit 500 hp engine and I have a big problem. The air intake line to the compressor keeps splitting about every 3 or 4 months. Its a rubber line about 3 inches long and is just before a valve Im thinking a check valve. The line comes from the pipe at the airfilter then goes over the engine. There shouldnt really be any pressure as it is air intake. The hose seems to split after the compressor kicks out 120 psi. Any help would be excepted. The compressor also has been changed but still the same problem. Thank you

we in the shop have seen these hoses busting and have started putting on a 4 braided thread hose and havent seen any others in a while. I see you posted that it blows at the 120 psi. check the type of hose you are replacing it with.
