The only way the truck drives normal is if it is warmed at least 30 minutes in the AM.I am thinking temp sensor.solenoid but I may be wrong. This same symptom happened on a DDECII until Petro changed my fan solenoid, fan clutch and temp sensor.

A friend had similar problem in his 05' or 06' Coronado with DDEC V, Detroit parts guy suggested he try replacing the injector wiring harness in the head. We did and no more problem. Think it was less than $100 for the harness and easy to change out.

before I told my mech about the wiring harness, he first suggested the heater element etc right under the fuel filter. He said it heats up the fuel in cold weather.I am not sure if that was a good estimated guess. He also mentioned the harness or an injector.I have a code reading of 62 and 23(which seem to be stored in the ECM) which indicates fuel temperatures too high and injector response too long.Within 4000 miles of doing a pm my fuel filter level is already at 3/4 level. Is this all related or am I just buying bad fuel?.

Steve Booth had a problem with his filter filling up real fast because he was running the tanks too low and picking up crud.

I doiubt it is the fuel heater,I don't even have one on my truck and seeing you are in Georgia you won't need one there either unless you run way way up North. I haven't had one on my truck in 5 years.
