Oil pressure was lost....oil left by way of crank case vent! Advice please! Am I checking something simple before my mechanic takes over?.........Dodge Turbo Diesel 3500 6 cylinder 5speed manual 1998 flatbed duelly..240,000 mi. ...black ....yes I love it...now I have to fix it!

There must be something wrong with your fuel drain plug, there have a rubber gasket inside the fuel drain plug to seal the oil tank to prevent the oil form leakage, regarding that your oil comes out from your engine, you really need to replace the fuel drain plug of your Cummins Engine.
