Good day all,

I have an old Dynahoe Backhoe with a BW T12 that is not working, I want to swap it out to a AT545 but cannot find much information on what I'm lacking

SAE#3 bellhousing on AT545, are they all SAE#3? and any SAE 3 will bolt up to an SAE 3 engine? is it that simple? my 53 has a SAE 4 so I see I need the adapter plate, then Ill need spacers to the TC the same thickness as the plate.

am I over thinking this swap? I have seen some tranny's on C/L but would like to feel some confidence before I buy one and run into unforeseen trouble

thank you for any help provided

Luke

Buying a tranny with right torque convertor is the main cost adaptor plate and hub is standard

'Listed a Perkins T6.354 on DieselEngineTrader and sold it after 5 month. With a listing fee of $5.00 per month and no commission, it was much cheaper and more effective than the magazine we also used.'

'We sold a Deutz 6 cylinder to a new customer in Illinois within weeks of listing! Because the customer contacted us directly from the start, the deal went very smoothly.'
