Hello guys.... I'm a possible new user of these engines. Looking at a boat now powered with 6-71 N's. I was doing a quick inspection of the engine room and noticed so many filters and hoses compared to a gas engine. I found the oil dip stick, but where is the oil fill and what is the safe mark for filling? The owner wasn't there at the time. I did ask via the phone, he stated that he didn't know, because his fishing buddy takes care of the engines.

Thanks in advance to a newbie question.

Hi,
Usually through the tappet cover, or may be at the Rear end of the Blower on the side of the engine.
if engines have been set up correctly the dip stick will have a full and low mark on it!!!!!
the gears will also have a seperate dip stick but have to be checked out at idle!!
go to website few pics so takes a min or so to load!!

'I had hundreds of "hits" on your website which generated 5 or 6 inquiries from all over the world; Germany, The Philippines, Korea, Sweden, and Spain. I sold all 3 of my engines to a buyer from South Korea. Your website was invaluable to me in selling these engines; no other ads that I ran produced any inquiries.'
