Hello to all, - newly joined !

I can obtain old engine( I can almost hear - and ?, not another, give us a break, or perhaps #@ *!?~~## etc etc).
I am building a Steel Spray 38', money being in short supply etc,
the old wooden boat next to my project has a Ford with the No: S 380396 and a fuel pump SIMMS 46A5 and FL on the cylinder head.
A decompressor is fitted.
The numbers are as close as I can determine.
It does run, smoked a little, understand that it has not turned over in 10 years. Since it is raw water cooled, I will have to source a heat exchanger/water cooled manifold.

I have read a response in this forum re: a Fordson major 6D which seems to answer some of my questions, however the engine number of the one above is very different from the 6D quoted ?.

I cannot ask the owner of the wooden boat, sadly he suffered a stroke 10 - 11 years ago, his family have now decided to break up the boat.

Apologies for same old same old topic/request.

Any information/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
