Detroit diesel used to have a very large pdf spec librarey on theyre web site. They took it all down when mercedes bought them last year.E-mails to detroit diesel havent really brought any helpful responses.Does anyone know of any sites were these pdf's are still posted. They included the still factorey avalible new crate moters,as well as some older reman ratings and some obsolete ratings.Silly me for not downloading things when I had the chance, but I didnt suspect mercedes would cutt off public access. Also, does anyone know of any good info pages where ratings are listed for highway and industriel engines, not just marine engines.Last but not least, has anyone ever seen list of tourque ratings for two stroke engines.I'm just curious.Cat and Cummins have always been proud of showing off theyre tourque ratings in highway engines and industriel engines, but I cant remember ever seeing tourque specs for any two stroke detroits. Thanks for any help.

I would appreaciate copies of anything you have, but I am most interested in the 12V71,16V71,and 8V92.If you dont have any torque specs on the 16V71,then just include what you have on the 8V71's and I'll multiply it times two.You can scan them and E-mail them to me at thunderdrayage@aol.com,Or if you dont have a scanner then e-mail me for my address and you can use normal mail.Thank you very much.
