Ok, here is my two cents. Straight pipes sound just fine on the 6.2Ls. But more importantly it is much more of a cost wise solution, because the 6.2ls rot away mufflers in no time, and it never fails, they always do. Hope this helps.

Interesting you should say that. My 83 GMC 1500 with 6.2 is at 208,000 miles with the original mufflers and exhaust system. I guess 21 years is "no time"

'Congratulations on your increasing traffic at web page. I keep several address slips I've made up for your web page and have had occasion to hand out 25-30 to persons needing an engine or having one to sell.'

Cal Harvey, Triangle Agriculture

'We've had lots of response from our ads in DieselEngineTrader.com over the years and regularly sell engines from Coast to Coast in USA. Also sold an engine to Germany and several to Canada. We don't need to advertise anywhere else its a great website!'

Darrell Johnson, Johnson Engines, Harrisburg, Illinois, USA

'The engine was on other sites, but we received the most calls from DieselEngineTrader.com. We sold it to the first caller-from DieselEngineTrader.com. Also, there was a waiting list on the engine if the first sale fell through! Thanks for the great service!'
