My 96 freightliner fld with Detroit 60 series is showing fault codes; Red 31, Yellow 53 and Yellow 44. The 2 cylinder jakes doesn't work, and if it does it cuts in and out. The 3 cylinder jake works fine. It seems to happen when the truck is at higher rpms in the 2nd range of the clutch. I have had the oil sensor and coolant sensor replaced. I was thinking about replacing the actual plug connector. In case there was a short in the connector,

I don't often cross thread a bolt or lug nut; but when I do, I grab the impact gun and screw that bad boy home until its tight.
