Hello guys. I am a new owner of mid 1980's Ford CL65 skid steer loader. There is no current problem with the engine but I am having a hard time finding out what engine I have and were to get parts if I do have a problem. I have found out that this machine was actually made by Thomas for Ford from 1983-1986. It is the same as a Thomas T233 except for the engine. Thomas put Kubota engines in the T233 but Ford put a Shibaura in CL65. Someone told me that he thought the Shibaura was really a Perkins?
Thomas still stocks parts for this machine except for the engine. Ford no longer stocks parts for this machine. Any information on what engine I have and where to get parts would be greatly appreciated.
