Does anyone know of a problem with the larger (265-285 hp) Ford Lehmans built in the late 80's with intake valves disintegrating? I have heard this from two engine surveyors but unable to corroborate this. I have heard replacing the valves with stronger ones can lengthen the life of the engine.

If you know where I can go for bulletins from Ford that might talk about this.
