Issue: Bad performance on Grades! I have a 2006 Western Star 4900EX with 14L Series 60 515HP, 13 Speed Eaton Fuller, 3.58 rears. Recently we had the bull gear replaced. Before having it replaced it could out pull all the 14L's and 12L's in the fleet. Example: just this week grossing 72,000 lbs it's following an older Freightliner Classic 12L 500HP grossing 78,500 up a mountain in Virginia. The Freightliner out pulls the Western Star a mile in distance. This had never happen before, could it be the bull gear?

why was bullgear replaced..this engine should have compact gear train, there are no bullgear bearings to go bad..it rides on a spindle with a bushing..is there a chance they reflashed ecm to newer program..

Pin Broke causing the gear to alter time. Several teeth were chipped.

'In our first 2 months of advertising we sold 4 engines, 2 to Australia and 2 to Brazil. We deal in new and used engines and parts and advertising on DieselEngineTrader works very well for us - we get regular enquiries from all over the world.'

Kishore Bhatia, Engine Recycling International, Houston USA

'I listed a surplus Watermota diesel on DieselEngineTrader. It took a few months to sell, but I was delighted as the engine was quite obscure and I never thought anyone would buy it!'

John MacTaggart Dalintober Boats UK

'Listed a Perkins T6.354 on DieselEngineTrader and sold it after 5 month. With a listing fee of $5.00 per month and no commission, it was much cheaper and more effective than the magazine we also used.'

Chris Weeks, Old Forge Lake Cruises, New York, USA
