I have a Case engine, posting here because I know Cats have the same issue. I did not see a Case page.
Anyhow the lower counter bores are pitted. I filed in with epoxy and looks pretty good. Has anybody ever used silicone on the lower liner O-rings for an additional sealer agent?

The epoxy should work just fine...I have done it many times...I have seen some extremely messy jobs using silicone...and they leaked anyway.

'I listed a surplus Watermota diesel on DieselEngineTrader. It took a few months to sell, but I was delighted as the engine was quite obscure and I never thought anyone would buy it!'

John MacTaggart Dalintober Boats UK

'We were looking for a 6SDIT Isuzu diesel but quotes from regular suppliers were too high. Searched Diesel Engine Trader and found a match immediately. As a result, we listed our engines for sale and got our first responses within weeks.'

Dale Gregory, Ontrac Equipment Services Inc, Canada

'We sold a Turbo in 2 weeks to a guy in Houston! We also sold the first engine we listed - an old Hatz. It took 2 months to sell but that was OK as we couldn't move it locally. We track visitors to our website and we get lots from DieselEngineTrader.com. Your website really works, it's a great service and we'll be using DieselEngineTrader.com for years to come!'
