Lucas CAV water in fuel detector

I've got a LUCAS/CAV diesel fuel filter aboard my boat. I can identify this as :-

Type FAS Des. No.5633618?900 ( the question mark represents a B I think )

This filter has 3 wires coming from it which I'm told can be wired to a lamp to show that the diesel passing through the filter is contaminated with water (or maybe that the filter element needs changing?)

Could anyone please provide me with a wiring diagram?
