Hi,
have a look at the block just below the head either side or end for a smooth square about 3"x4" and you will find some numbers there.
it will be either a 53/71/92 series.

'You have been very encouraging to me in listing my inheritance of Detroit parts. THANK YOU. Things are moving, inquiries are picking up. My bills are getting paid. Just wanted to thank you.'

'We bought a new John Deere engine via DieselEngineTrader.com for a great price and were able to sell it locally for $1000 less than our competition. We really appreciate the website - it's great!'

Ben Kauffman, Quaker Machine, PA, USA

'I listed a surplus Watermota diesel on DieselEngineTrader. It took a few months to sell, but I was delighted as the engine was quite obscure and I never thought anyone would buy it!'
