I have a Massey Ferguson tractor aprox 1968 with 3 cly perkins in it. The thrust bearings failed in it, allowing the crank to walk back and forth. It was running good, but crank was moving alot. When taken apart the crank thrust surface was badly wore and also into side of block. I would like to know where I could get parts for it or if there is an ecnomical replacement motor. Thanks for you help

I had that happen on a detroit 4-53 in my tractor about 10 yrs ago.
I had the block web and the crank trust brg facings machined.
I custom machined brass trust bearing halves from a piece of brass tubing to fit the bigger gap.
The engine is still running today, the brass brgs hold up well,no play yet.
