Hi,
I have a Perkins 404C-22 non turbo in my RC 50 ASV Posi track loader.
The problem started when I tipped the machine forward (overbalanced).
I have a bad noise coming from front of engine (I Think).
The engine will run at idle, but if revs are up at operating revs engine will only run for a short time and think stops like it has seized and won't even turnover, but will restart after leaving it for a bit.
I took tappet cover off a ran engine, after short time white smoke starts to come up from pushrods.
The higher the rpm the more smoke and then after a short time at the higher rpm the stops.
Does anyone have any idea's.

white smoke might indicate oil burning whereas black smoke indicated diesel burning There is not much info to go on .Is the cooling system OK? Noise might be dry water pump . It will sieze like that when it gets excessively hot.
