I bought a Ford diesel tractor a little while back, and have had problems with it since. It's an older tractor Ford 3000. The problem is after running a while , I can shut it off and it will not start again. Does anybody have any ideal as to what might be wrong. By the way I'm new to the Forum here. Thanks in advance.

Bbear, The 3000 are simple and easy to work on..it can really only be 3 things...start with the cheapest first...replace your fuel filters..if that doesn't work....put in new injectors...if that doesn't work replace the fuel pump......remember this engine doesn't self prime..there is a little manual pump....if you loose prime you just unscrew the fuel lines starting at front of tractor(@ the injectors) until you can get a little fuel out ...tighten it back up and work your way back..hope this helps
