I have twin Detroit 6-71's In-Line. I was running at 1900 RPM when the port engine dropped the 700 RPM's and generated a huge cloud of consistent black smoke. I shut the engine and limped back to the dock. I tend to believe my problem is the Turbo, however, I removed the radiator cap and found oil mixed in the water (antifreeze). Can anyone help? Is it possible that the oil in the coolant is the result of a bad turbo?

Oil in the water could also be the figure "8" o-ring between the block and head.

'We sold a Turbo in 2 weeks to a guy in Houston! We also sold the first engine we listed - an old Hatz. It took 2 months to sell but that was OK as we couldn't move it locally. We track visitors to our website and we get lots from DieselEngineTrader.com. Your website really works, it's a great service and we'll be using DieselEngineTrader.com for years to come!'

Brad Marcak, Powerpro Texas, USA

'We've had lots of response from our ads in DieselEngineTrader.com over the years and regularly sell engines from Coast to Coast in USA. Also sold an engine to Germany and several to Canada. We don't need to advertise anywhere else its a great website!'
