I have a detroit 500 and the pyrometer has been getting a little hot so what i would like to know is there a way i can hook up an air gauge to check it for leaks so i dont have to go to a shop

Yes, You'll have to remove the air piping from the air to air aftercooler and plug one side. On the other side you'll have to figure out a way
to reduce it so you can charge it with compressed air. THIS AIR MUST BE REGULATED NOT TO EXCEED 30PSI!!!!!!!! then check for leaks. Be
very careful or you may end up buying a new cooler.
