Diesel Talk
i have a g reg astra bedford van (diesel) which has been well maintained but has developed a problem of slowly dying. tapping the accelrator to catch the engine fails. after it has died it will star after about 15 seconds and run normally again untill it feels like playing up again have changed fuel fillter today but have not bled the system as yet , must say the filter that i removed looked pretty clean. i notice there are two connections on the main body where the filter fits forming part of the loom dont know what they do, iam wondering if some kind of senor could be playing up as the vehicle has been standing for a while , when the van was 1st started after standing it started after a few cranks
any idears welcome

thanx
