HI GUYS.
Iv got a JD 8420 6 cylinder with a helluva lot of engine oil in the rad.
Cooler is ok. Head gasket was ok and all looks good. Not been overheated etc.
No water in oil.
What do you think?
Has anyone had issues with water pump letting this happen?
Or any other thoughts on it.....

What engine is in this machine. 6.8 or 8.1 Power tech or if a common rail engine there would be other places to check?? We usually change the Oil cooler and o-rings and gaskets .Remove the thermostat run threw a cleaner. Cannot rule out liner o-rings,seen this years ago changing everything, and finally changed o-rings,it can happen.

Appologies for not getting back to you. its common rail. We ended up thinking this problem was down to sabotage although Im not convinced. Absolutelly no coolant in oil left us totally baffled. We gave it a thorough flush out and ran it for a long time with no apparent oil leaking into the coolant.
Very strange.....

Check the water pump. There a hole in the back top of pump, and the gasket could be blown..
