I have had the same problem for a number of years. no codes. the truck just runs rough. I have spent thousands of dollars on injectors (on set number 4 now in six years) in seams to me detriot injectors are junk . the next set will be bosch . any thoughts on this.

Back when they made the switch to ULSD all the additive companies started saying "without the sulfur for lubrication, you'll have to use our product or you'll ruin your injectors"...maybe they were right. There's certainly been a rise in injector failures in resent years. Personally, I just ordered a FASS as it claims to increase lubrication and eliminates tiny air bubbles which are hard on injectors.

I guess I am lucky. All 6 of my injectors were new from the factory in 1999. Now they have 1.1 million on them and it runs as smooth as the day if came of the assembly line. I think it would be safe to assume, after 4 sets in 6 years, it is not your injectors. Do you have them tested before replacing them?

I'm becoming convinced, my body will wear out before my 12.7
