I have an 03 freightliner century, truck was acting up for a while I decided to take it to a shop to check it out , they test injectors and came back saying selenoid was sticking on 2 and 2 were spraying 60 and 70 percent, put new set of injectors in drove it for 2 days truck was fuel knocking were I took it back , they did check the insulation and gave it back ,problem was the same long story short took back to the shop were they decided to to put a new set of injectors , with a new set of injectors the engine sound fine and got smoother for 2 days then I start feeling if I have fuel filter clogged and diesel was rising in the filter every time I push on the throttle , I changed the fuel filter and even changed the fuel pump but problem stayed , I drove the truck under a load it feel if it's locked down once u reach speed of 55 mph , this is the problem I have with this truck for a long long time, I called the previous owner and he told me he went through the same problem and was unable to solve it, is it possible that all them injectors we keep buying is bad, never had a check engine code, help help help plz

The inside of old fuel lines will often swell and cause a blockage you can't see from the outside. It would feel similar to a clogged filter, however, I don't think you'd see fuel rise in your filter. If they're original lines I'd replace them either way. Hope this helps.

I have changed all fuel line 6 month ago, the only line I didn't change is the return line from the back of the head to fuel tank, that line looks old and am not sure if it shrieked or its supposed to be that small.but it's not the same size of the supply lines,

That return is smaller than the supply, and it's not under pressure, so if its coming apart it won't affect your fuel pressure. You will see particles of rubber in your filters.

Thank to all for trying to help, I decided to change the check valve and couple fuel line and it did make a huge Defferent, now I have steady fuel pressure and I feel little he's sedation at 1400 rpm and speed over 50 mph, I think I that speed turbo trying to kik in but most of the time it didn't , when it dose kik in the truck speed up like crazy without pushing hard on throttle and when that happen I think feel vibration from the turbo side like if I have a bad steer tire , I am thinking theat the turbo wasn't working and getting boost for at least a year may cause it to stuck close or open, am thinking g about installing a resestor for the turbo boost , I heard it will brings truck
back to life since 12.u series 60 known for a turbo and boost isue

Not sure if it could be the something but I truck come in that was at 2 other shops and they change injectors and stuff but low power came back. I found a fuel filter head on the frame that take the FS1000 filter but had a heater in it. In the heater part it was plugged with junk. Not sure how it even ran. I vacuum gage on the inlet of the lift pump should show restriction in the feed line. Good Luck!!
