its gone now but i was just curious we had a cummins 525 in are peterbilt it had 1.2 million on it and one night we were pulling a hill with about 80000 and the motor locked up with no warning it had good oil pressure and water temp was cool any ideas?

Old red head could,ve had a dribbling injector and grabbed a piston skirt or depending how long since she had a bearing roll might,ve grabbed a main Regards David

Spun a main bearing. I usually tell people to roll the bearings in the 700,000 miles. Seen a few and just swap out one that let go in the 800,000 miles. Good insurance to protect the crank.
