I have a 2 axle straight truck- 2001 Pierce fire truck with Wabco 4 channel abs. Chuff test sounds ok. After applying foot brake, the left rear brake chamber rod does not retract completely for a few minutes. the brakes are not really dragging, but with clearance sensing haldex style slack adjusters, that wheel comes out of adjustment after a few weeks. I have rebuilt the R-12dc relay valve & tried a new sr1- spring brake valve. They brake does not hang after releasing spring brakes. I have a slight amount of air pressure in the service line to L/R chamber if I crack the brake line at the chamber. I have tried connecting a new chamber without connecting it to slack adjuster and it also hangs, I have swapped abs modulator valves from left to right & problem is still there. The only thing i can think of is that the R12 dc relay valve casting has a crack into delivery port or is porous. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. BRT
