i want to build a truck for camping and hunting but it will be for deep in the woods i will be haling a dual axle trailer with a heavy load ant the truck will be near the weight of a normal f-350 the engine im looking at figuratively speaking is an inline 6 with a 5 speed 4x4 transmission.

i am looking to get the best gas/decil mileage and speed but i don't want to sacrifice torque at the same time i don't want a low low gear truck hens the 5 speed not the 4 and the engine will have a snorkeler this an engine and tranny i will have someone build for me but i am looking for advice before i push forward

what engine transmission combo would you use that that would easy to work on

is there anything you woulc install or put in place of factory parts that would improve the engine/tranny performance and add a longer life to them

is there anything ells i should be thinking of other then the engine/tranny on the truck that would improve performance and add a longer life
