I was hoping that someone could help with which injection pump number is matched with a 6.2l chev
engine with the arrangment number 1ypf 1219. The engine has been fitted to a Toyota Landcruiser and
the pump came from another engine that ran fine but was overheated. Now the new engine rolls at idle and surges under light load. The pump has been tested and came up within specs. All I can think of is that the pump does not match the engine (it has a manual gearbox fitted)
The current pump number is DB2-4979

HI.
I have replaced the injection pump on my two baot engines 6.5 ltr turbo's. They were fittet with Stanadyne DS electrical pumps. I needed a machanical pump and some more torque. I have replaced the old ones with Stanadyne DS2 pumps and upgraded them a litle bit. The engines runs now max torque 21oo rpm / app. 495Nm and max power 240Hp at 3600rpm.
