I have a 95 Int. 4700 truck in need of a new T444E 190hp motor. Will a similar year F-Series pickup motor work as a long block. I know the water pump stuff is different and probably turbo and induction stuff too. I guess what I need to know is the long block going to work. Thanks for any help.

the powerstroke has a different camshaft in it . You will be able to swap it with ease but, the t444e has a camshaft ground for lower rpm torque. it may run fine for you or you may see a power loss because the powerstroke doesnt have the low end torque that the t444e has same block different guts
